Summer 2026
Summer has absolutely flown by, and while I haven’t had quite as much time in the studio as I would have liked, it’s still been a busy and exciting few months.

A Summer of Renovations
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that our house renovation has taken up a lot of our time this summer.
With building work happening at home, my usual access to the studio has been limited, which has meant much less time making cyanotypes. It’s been frustrating at times, especially when I’ve had ideas swirling around that I’ve wanted to get onto paper, but sometimes life has other plans.
Instead, this quarter has been about keeping things moving in other ways. Getting out to markets, working behind the scenes and making plans for what’s next.

Thirteen Markets!
One of the biggest parts of the last few months has been markets. I’ve attended 13, which has given me the chance to meet so many lovely people, talk about cyanotypes, share my work and see my prints head off to new homes.
Markets have become such an important part of Wild Cyan & Harris. There’s something really special about being able to speak to people face-to-face about the process behind the prints, hear what catches their eye and simply have a chat with people who appreciate handmade work.
It’s also been lovely to see familiar faces returning to different markets, as well as meeting completely new people along the way.

A New Product
One of the things I have managed to work on during this slightly chaotic period is something new for Wild Cyan & Harris, a new range of greeting cards. The cards have been created from some of my original cyanotype work, giving some of my favourite pieces a new life in a slightly different format.
It’s been really exciting to add something new to the range, particularly something that makes the artwork a little more accessible and gives people another way to take a little piece of Wild Cyan & Harris home with them.
So, What’s Next?
As we head into the final part of 2026, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes.
I have more 11 more markets in the diary which I am really looking forward to. I’ll be sharing all of the upcoming dates on the website and over on Instagram, so keep an eye out if you’d like to come and say hello.
I’m also starting to think ahead to workshops for next year. There are lots of ideas floating around at the moment, and I’m excited about the possibility of bringing cyanotype-making to more people and sharing the process in a hands-on way.
And then there’s the making.
I have so many ideas for new work, and I’m hoping that as the renovation settles down and I can properly get back into my studio, I’ll finally have the time and space to start bringing some of them to life.

Looking Ahead
This summer hasn’t necessarily been the most productive in terms of making, but it has still been an important one for Wild Cyan & Harris.
Thirteen markets, a new product line, lots of conversations, plenty of planning and a whole lot of renovation later, I’m heading into the final quarter of the year feeling ready for what comes next.
There’s still plenty to do, plenty to make and plenty to look forward to. Here’s to the final few months of 2026.
Thank you for being part of it!
